A working draft, pending review by our lawyer. It describes honestly how Secret Advisor handles your data today. The final wording may change.
The short version
We collect as little as possible. Browsing this site is anonymous, and stays cookie-free unless you accept analytics cookies in the banner. We only hold the information you choose to share with the Advisor, and you can see, correct, delete, and download it at any time.
What we collect
- On this website, anonymous visit and click counts so we can see how many people book a call. No name, no email, no message text, and nothing stored on your device.
- With your consent, a conversation with the Advisor may later be summarized and shown anonymously as an example of the Advisor at work, with every identifying detail removed.
- When you book a call, the calendar collects your name and email so we can meet. That is the first point where we learn who you are.
- If you become a client, the Advisor remembers the business details you share so it can help you over time. You stay in control of every fact it keeps.
The partners we rely on
A handful of trusted services help us run Secret Advisor. Each one only sees what it needs.
- PostHog, for anonymous website analytics, hosted in the EU.
- Google Analytics, for measuring website traffic. It only sets cookies if you accept them in the cookie banner; if you decline, it runs cookie-free.
- Slack and Telegram, where conversations with the Advisor take place.
- Google Calendar, for booking a call.
- OpenAI, which powers the Advisor's thinking.
- Stripe, for payments if you become a client.
For the current list of the services we rely on to run the product, what each one holds, where, and why, see our security page.
Where your data is kept
Your information is held on servers in the European Union (Germany). Some partners, such as Google, OpenAI and Stripe, are based in the United States and process data under standard legal safeguards.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you your data, correct it, delete it, or send you a copy to take elsewhere. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. We act on requests promptly and for free.
Cookies and tracking
When you first visit, we ask whether you accept analytics cookies. If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies so we can measure website traffic and see how the site is used. If you decline, or until you choose, no analytics cookies are stored and our analytics run cookie-free. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which brings the choice back. We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not sell data.
Changes
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will update the date above and, where it matters, tell you directly.
